What a wonderful site. Good work to all involved. Left Dunoon in 1955 but have never revisited. Looking forward to the Family History section.

Like your web page. I was on the USS Protious AS 19 while it was in the Holy Loch from 1961 to 1964. I had a wonderful time there and even married a Greenock girl. If you would like some pictures ,let me know. bigo321p32@aol.com

Left Dunoon in 1968 My family lived in the castle My Father was Head gardener for the Castle Gardens.His Name is Colin A Smith. I Love to see the Castle as it brings back fond memories of my childhood.

I visited the Museum when I was in Dunoon,it brought back many memories seeing all the steamers that used to come to Dunoon.

Excellent,we were made really welcome.I know the area having lived in Innellan,but I learned a lot as did my family.Nice surprise to see that my little sister is a museum exhibit as well!Hope you manage to get webcam installed in near future.Thankyou
