1. Definitions
Personal Data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Processing – any operation or set of operations which is performed on Personal Data or on sets of
Personal Data.
Data subject – a natural person whose Personal Data is being Processed.
Child – a natural person under 16 years of age.

If you’ve used our contact form to get in touch, then we may retain your name, e-mail address and
any other details provided, for the purposes of dealing with your enquiry.
If you’ve made a donation or become a Friend/Member, then we will retain contact details such as
your name, home address and telephone number etc. We retain this for the purposes of keeping
you informed on what the society is doing with the funds it receives. We do not retain bank details.
Information automatically collected about you
This includes information that is automatically stored by cookies and other session tools from third
parties. For example, your shopping cart information, your IP address, and which pages you’ve
visited etc. This information is used to improve your customer experience. When you use our
services or look at the contents of our website, your activities may be logged by WordPress,
YouTube or Facebook as there are page elements that rely on their services.

We may gather information from, or share information with, our trusted partners with confirmation
that they have legal grounds to share that information with us. This is either information you have
provided them directly with or that they have gathered about you on other legal grounds. See the

Publicly available information

How long do we store your data for?
We will only retain data for as long as is needed to carry out the functions that inspired you to give

Even though we try our best we can not guarantee the security of information. However, we

your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and

If you have an account with us, note that you have to keep your username and password secret.
